PORTLAND, Ore. - A police officer suffered minor injuries in a collision on Southeast 82nd Avenue and Powell Boulevard early Wednesday morning.
    
Police say a man was speeding east on Powell Boulevard when he missed a red light and smashed into a Portland police cruiser.
    
The officer's car was pushed over a curb and into the drive-through of a fast-food restaurant.

The officer suffered minor injuries but the damage to the patrol car was extensive.
    
The other driver was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.
