PORTLAND, Ore. – Two people were arrested Friday in southeast Portland after police served a search warrant and found what they described as an inactive meth lab inside a home.
The home is located in the 4700 block of Southeast 74nd Avenue in Portland.
In a press release, Portland Police said the investigation began a few weeks ago after police began receiving complaints about possible drug-related activities at the home.
John Thede, 41, was arrested and charged with one count of manufacturing a controlled substance (meth) and 30-year-old Brooke Finck was arrested on an outstanding warrant for forgery. Both subjects were taken to the Multnomah County Jail in Portland.
The meth lab was described by police as a “boxed” lab that could be easily moved from place to place.
