PORTLAND, Ore. - The 82nd Avenue of Roses Parade is this weekend and if you've taken a look outside, you know that the weather could not be better.

This is the 7th year of the annual parade, which starts at the Eastport Plaza shopping center in Southeast Portland and heads north to Southeast 82nd and Yamhill.

In addition to the parade, which starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday, there will be free pony rides, balloon animals, caricatures, face painting, a cruise-in and more at Eastport Plaza.

For Drivers:

Southeast 82nd Avenue between Holgate Boulevard and Washington Street will be closed from approximately 9 a.m. to noon.

Also, both directions of Powell Boulevard will be blocked at 82nd Avenue during the parade. Police will allow Powell Boulevard traffic to pass through 82nd Avenue during gaps in the parade.
