DOD: Marine from Grants Pass killed in Iraq

The Department of Defense on Tuesday announced the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Lance Cpl. Juan M. Garcia Schill, 20, of Grants Pass, Ore., died July 2 while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar province, Iraq.
He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Twentynine Palms, Calif.
