PORTLAND, Ore. - You've heard of 'road rage,' but what about 'movie rage?'

That's what apparently happened at a downtown Portland movie theater this week when an argument broke out over someone using a cell phone while people were trying to watch the movie Transformers.

"Yeah, he kept talking on it," said Enrique Arroyo. "And not only that, the light from the camera was just bothering people and the movie had started with commercials and he said 'I'll turn it off when the movie starts.'

Once the movie started, Arroyo said the man kept talking on the cell phone, so he confronted him again and the man on the phone pulled out a knife and cut him.

Arroyo said the injury was not serious.  He ended up with a cut on his thumb and decided not to press charges.

The movie theater managers did call police and when officers arrived, they handcuffed the man who had been on the cell phone. He was questioned by detectives and later released. He was never officially arrested, but the theater managers told him he could never come back.

A spokesman for Regal Cinemas said incidents like this are very rare and the theater reminds moviegoers several times before the show to not use their cell phones.
