VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) - Vancouver police responded to a 911 call from the Fred Meyer store on Grand Boulevard regarding a carjacking on Tuesday.

The female victim said she was confronted outside the store by a man who held a knife to her throat.

The suspect took the victim's 2005 Honda Accord from her and fled the scene in the vehicle. The victim told police that her car was equipped with a GPS locating system.

The GPS locating system was activated, and the vehicle was found parked in the 3000 block of Harney Street.

Officers called for a K-9 and a man was tracked to a nearby apartment.

The suspect, 18-year-old Pedro Graciano of Vancouver, was taken into custody.
