PORTLAND, Ore. - One man is dead and another person was taken to the hospital after an early morning crash in Portland.
The collision happened on Southeast Foster Road near Barbara Welch Road just after midnight Friday.
Witnesses tell police the man who was killed in the collision was driving fast and lost control of his car before crashing into a red Ford Mustang coming the other way.

Officers arrived and observed that a Nissan Sentra, driven by 28-year-old Bradley Gould, had veered from the westbound to the eastbound lane of Southeast Foster Road, colliding with a Ford Mustang driven by 40-year-old Christopher Milburn.

Gould was deceased at the scene and Milburn was transported to OHSU with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators believe speed will be a factor in the collision and are waiting for the results of the toxicology examination to determine if drugs or alcohol are factors in this collision.
Accident investigators say they will have to wait for toxicology results before they can say for sure that alcohol was a factor in the fatal crash.
Milburn was not badly hurt and is expected to recover.
