Amber Alert issued for missing Kent girl, car sought

KENT, Wash. -- An Amber Alert has been issued for an 8-year-old Kent girl who was taken by her father during a domestic dispute on Wednesday morning.
Investigators said Anh Bao Nguyen-Duffy has not been at school since, and her whereabouts were not known. She is believed to be with her father, 37-year-old Hung Bao Nguyen. The two were last seen in the 10300 block of SE 264th Street in Kent.
Police are now looking for a 1998 black Ford F-150 with Washington license plate number B27504V in connection with the girl's disappearance.
The father's photo was not available. He is said to stand 5 foot 7 inches tall and weigh approximately 145 pounds. Police said he is wanted for felony harassment, second-degree arson and assault, and should not be approached.
The girl is 3-foot-5 and weighs about 45 pounds. She has straight black hair with red highlights, and was last seen wearing a white jacket, jeans and green shoes.
Anyone with information on the pair's whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately.

Its sad when people use kids to hurt the other parent. People shouldn't put their children through these kind of things. I hope the girl is found safe, and found ASAP.
Regardless of which parent has the kid, both parents should be thinking about the best interest of that child... Hoping the child is ok...
Kids don't need to be the rope between arguing parents as they play tug-of-war with each other. I'm with Lucy - Kids are the ones who suffer - not the parents.Â
I wish people wouldn't use children as weapons in marital disputes. The kids are always the ones to suffer.
