PORTLAND, Ore. -- After a public vote, the Oregon Zoo has decided on a name for its adorable otter pup.
The choice wasn't made lightly. More than 8,000 people weighed in on the zoo's website, voting between the three choices of Willamette, Trask and Zigzag.
Picking up nearly 50 percent of the votes was...Zigzag! Or Ziggy for short.
It's tough to tell whether the 6-week-old otter approves of his name, as he is just now able to open his eyes and walk.
You can now catch a glimpse of Ziggy and mom Tilly through a den window at the Cascade Stream and Pond habitat.
