Ashland high school hazing suspects face sanctions if guilty
ASHLAND, Ore. (AP) — Three high school football players who have been charged with attempted sex assault and hazing after a summer training camp incident will face school sanctions if found guilty.
Results of the six-month-long investigation were made public Thursday against the players, all minors.
The Medford Mail Tribune reports the school suspended its own inquiry when Ashland police were alerted July 9 to the incidents.
Police allege underclassmen teammates were coerced and threatened into committing "embarrassing and degrading" acts in dorm rooms during a football training camp held in June at Linfield College in McMinnville.
Police say there also were four attempts on three boys to sexually penetrate them with a finger.
A 17-year-old who was never enrolled in Ashland High School and who no longer lives in Ashland was arrested Tuesday on four counts of first-degree attempted sexual penetration with a finger and five counts of coercion, all felony charges.
The three football players were charged with five counts of coercion. Two of the players were charged with conspiracy to attempt to commit unlawful sexual penetration in the first degree.
Wouldn't the joke be on the guy with the poop covered finger?

Sounds painful.
Just not right. "sanctions" What will happen in the court system if found guilty, jail?
Easy fix actually, they should not be allowed to participate in school sports period.. They knew what they were doing was wrong. Show the world that this is not acceptable behavior and eventually it will stop.
This type of behavior needs to stop!
