BEAVERTON, Ore. – Beaverton police are asking for the public’s help finding a 74-year-old man who suffers from dementia and walked away from his home Wednesday night.
Larry Clem lives on Auklet Loop, near Southwest Murray/Scholls Ferry, police say.
Clem was gone when someone checked on him at 6 a.m. Thursday.
Police say Clem is on foot and does not have a cellphone, wallet or identification. He suffers from short term memory problems in addition to dementia.
He is believed to be wearing a black and blue jacket and navy shorts. Police say Clem is 5-foot-10, 165 pounds, has white hair and a grey mustache.
Tigard police officers are helping with the search.
Anyone who sees Clem is asked to call Beaverton police.
