The body of a 26-year-old man was found floating in the Willamette River Tuesday afternoon, according to Portland police.
The body was first reported around 2:20 p.m. entangled in ropes along the western seawall near the Portland Spirit dock.
Sheriff's deputies and Portland Fire and Rescue officers were first on the scene, followed by police. Investigators did not believe the death was homicide.
An autopsy will be performed Wednesday by the Oregon State Medical Examiner.
