KEIZER, Ore. – Police and a bomb squad shut down a Keizer road to investigate a suspicious device found on a sidewalk Sunday afternoon.

The object had wires coming out of it and a sign that said “push to play”, police said. Officers called in the bomb squad to take a look and shut down River Road North.

After using a robot to a look at the device, bomb technicians determined it had electronic parts, but no explosives. The road was reopened ten minutes later.
