Contractors show up at wrong home, get caught on surveillance camera
Police say these two men, captured on surveillance camera, are suspected in a burglary in Vancouver.

VANCOUVER, Wash. – It turns out that these two men aren't burglars but contractors who mistakenly went to the wrong condominium, Vancouver police say.

They were supposed to work on a nearby unit.

Police originally said the homeowner reported a burglary Dec. 7, but Vancouver police say no crime was committed and they are not investigating the incident further.

However, police are still looking for the burglar pictured below, who has primarily hit homes in the Carter Park and Arnada neighborhoods.

He has struck homes in the early morning hours over the past few weeks, with three additional burglaries reported in the area on Tuesday alone.

The suspect is approximately 5'6" to 5'9", and in the picture is wearing several layers of clothing. There is the number 12 visible on a sweatshirt he is wearing.

He reportedly walks down the street checking for unlocked gates, doors, and windows on homes and garages.

Police suggest everyone lock up their homes tight and keep an eye out for anyone acting suspiciously.

If you have information about any of these crimes or suspects, contact Vancouver police.
