BEAVERTON, Ore. – Police said a wanted burglary suspect turned himself in early Saturday morning because it was too cold outside and he had nowhere else to go.
Jeffrey Lane, 33, was responsible for burglarizing Jesuit High School last year and at least six more attempted burglaries in Beaverton, according to police.
Beaverton Police spokesman Mike Rowe said Lane agreed to turn himself in to detectives on Friday, but didn’t show up. Lane is a “potential career criminal”, Rowe said.
Lane turned himself in at 6:30 a.m. Saturday after a night in the cold.
