ALOHA, Ore. – Washington County sheriff’s deputies caught three burglary suspects after a chase through an Aloha neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.

Deputies arrested Terry Lynn Smith Jr., 20, and two 16-year-old boys. Smith was a wanted fugitive who had several violent crime warrants, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies were called to a home in the 17700 block of Southwest Corona Lane just before 2 p.m. A neighbor called 911 to report men breaking a window to get into the house. The caller told deputies there have been problems at the house before.

Deputies and police officers arrived at the house and saw the three suspects run out the front door. Deputies detained a 16-year-old boy while the other two suspects ran.

The chase continued through the neighborhood. Deputies said the suspects were jumping fences and running through wooded areas.

Both suspects were taken into custody by 4:45 p.m.

Deputies took Smith to the Washington County Jail. He faces burglary and trespassing charges, along with his previous warrants for robbery, burglary, unlawful use of a weapon and theft.

The juvenile suspects were taken to the Donald E. Long Detention Center.
