Cameras catch hotel guests leaving with flat-screen TV

PORTLAND, Ore. - Staff at a North Portland hotel are trying to track down the guests who swiped something a lot more valuable than some towels, soap or shampoo.
The hotel's night manager says a man and a woman with a baby checked in Sunday night and when they checked out on Monday, they took the flat-screen TV from the hotel room with them.
Hotel management said video from security cameras shows the pair taking the TV out of the room after covering it with bedding and some clothing.
They then drove away in a light-colored Cadillac with a soft top.
Police are asking anyone who recognizes the couple to contact them.
Did they steal the Cadillac too by absconding with it in a test drive?

I recognize the ride, but the pictures are so crappy what good are they? If the guy had tattoos on his face I can tell you who it is, but these pictures really suck and businesses refuse to replace antiques with Hi-Def cameras...
I thought you needed a credit card to check into a motel except a low ender in the "hot sheets"ept.

@flyingtimeI'd just assume the media will use anything they can to keep our minds off of the lies that Obama spewed this morning concerning (his) sequester and the (reduction in the increase) of the amount to be spent. The Sequester is all BS anyway. We gave away $50 BILLION to repair some of the damage from hurricane Sandy. The Sequester is an $80 Billion reduction. We spend that much in one week.Â

I swear hotels usually require a credit card when you check in for incidentals and stuff......of course it could have been a stolen card or something but surely they should have something to go on besides cruddy video?
