Cops collar man they say slashed car tires, broke car window
PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Police said a call to 9-1-1 and a quick response by officers led to the capture of a man suspected of slashing car tires and breaking a car window in Southeast Portland.
Police said they got a call at 9:40 p.m. Monday from someone who heard a car window being broken near SE 18th Avenue and Belmont Street. The caller said they saw a white male riding away on a bicycle down SE Morrison Street.
Officers arrived "within minutes" and took Robert Allen Bradford into custody on first degree criminal mischief charges. He was taken to the Multnomah County Jail.
Police did not say how many cars were damaged but a KATU News reporter counted at least eight cars with flattened tires.
Police said residents living in the area of SE 18th and Morrison who find their vehicles vandalized should file a report by calling the non-emergency line at 503-823-3333 and reference the key case, 12-103475.
Police said officers left business cards on some damaged cars that were parked in the area of the vandalism.

    Actually if you take a look at his face and his ear placement, compare to those with Fetal Alcohol syndrome we might find the cuase of his being so stupid...I agree, he did a lot of evil actions, but there may be good reason behind his behaviors. While I'm laughing at his mugshot, at same time I feel sorry....what if he really does have FAS, raised in disfunctional abusive "family", and his formative years weren't the best.
Explains it, but in no way excuses it...for many of us have skeletons in our own closets, but we make better choices whle this guy obviously has not.

just sad facts of our life here on PLanet earth and is only going to get worse as our economy fails, jobs scarce....and more...People are scared, worried and frightened and with no $ to seek help needed to cope with serious stuff...they medicate themselves....drugs, alcohol or dangerous living taking chances as life for them is just too cheap.
Imagine a young single pregnant mom, herself a FAS "victim" having several kids, on welfare, having to live in some delapidated single wide, has no real support, no mom to turn to or advice...all she has is those whove abused and failed her her entire life...is a vicious cycle and for her, all she has is her "medication"...and the cycle continues....when her kids reach their teens, they'll be doing just as this goon has done.
Is just all pathetic....
Whenver I see something like this, I try to remind myself "Therefore by The Grace of God, go I or we!"...for, what if?

While at same time he knows better than to do as he's been doing...probably for most of his life, since was a toddlar....FAS children were damaged by their mother....any of us could have had the same...not saying he should get away with his crimes, but punish AND also therapy...LOTS of therapy as his crimes will only escalate with time.

@notgatt If you are the guy and you did this, you ARE a loser in every sense! There is no reason for this type of behavior and nothing you could say will change that! You vandalized 12 cars, most likely owned by people you don't know and who most likely need those cars to earn an income or take care of a family. I just had some creep loser steal my brand new battery out of my truck while it sat in my driveway a week ago Thursday. I missed two appointments at the VA because of this. Yes, I am a disabled vet and believe that scum that damage or steal from other's cars should be, well, society forbids me to say what I think should be done to your hide. This is one crime that really deserves coporal punishment..... You are the living definition of LOSER!Â

It sounds like you think I was too harsh on notgatt, which now I see it wasn't really the person who vandalized those cars. And if you have a problem with disabled vets then may I suggest that you move out of our country. I am paying for my rights and service every single day. I was in shock with severe convulsions for 4 hours the other day due to missing those appointments.
