BEAVERTON, Ore. – Newly released court documents reveal disturbing details regarding two men who were arrested for sex trafficking two 13-year-old girls in Beaverton.
Police arrested Victor Moreno-Hernandez, 27, and Steven Jason Toth, 42, both of Beaverton.
Court documents show one of the girls met the men as a runaway during the summer of 2012 and claimed to be dating Moreno-Hernandez. The victim said Moreno-Hernandez introduced her to Toth in order to get her a job at Stars Cabaret. She also said Moreno-Hernandez helped her get a fraudulent birth certificate and social security card because she was underage. The victim told police she heard Moreno-Hernandez tell Toth her real age.
Court documents show the victim was also raped by Toth on more than one occasion.
Moreno-Hernandez told police he thought the victim was 19 years old, according to court documents.
On Tuesday, Beaverton police served a search warrant at Stars Cabaret strip club at 4570 S.W. Lombard Ave., and two residences in Beaverton.
Moreno-Hernandez was booked on suspicion of second-degree rape, second-degree sodomy, first-degree sex abuse, second-degree unlawful sexual penetration, distribution of a controlled substance to a minor, compelling prostitution and promoting prostitution.
Toth was booked on charges of rape, sodomy, sex abuse, compelling prostitution and delivering marijuana to a minor.
