Crews put out early morning house fire in Milwaukie

MILWAUKIE, Ore. – Firefighters responded to a fully involved house fire in Milwaukie early Tuesday morning.

The fire started around 4:15 a.m. at 6904 S.E. Lamphier Street.

Clackamas Fire spokesman Brandon Paxton said several neighbors called 911 to report the fire. Crews found flames coming from the home when they arrived.

Firefighters began protecting the surrounding homes, Paxton said. They had the fire knocked down by 5:15 a.m.

No one was living in the home when the fire started, according to firefighters at the scene. There are no reported injuries.

Investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
