PORTLAND, Ore. -- Search and Rescue crews found a missing hiker in the Columbia River Gorge early Tuesday morning.

Alexander said a Green Hornet Rescue Team began searching the trails around 5:20 a.m. and found her at around 1,200 feet, above Multnomah Falls at around 6:20 a.m.

Metz said she got lost once she hiked above Multnomah Falls. She stayed on the trail after dark.
