Deputies: More information needed on Clackamas shooting

CLACKAMAS, Ore. - Clackamas County Sheriff's Office investigators said they are wading through hundreds of witness interviews, reports and bits of forensic evidence following the fatal shooting at the Clackamas Town Center on Dec. 11.
Two people, 45-year-old Steve Forsyth and 54-year-old Cindy Ann Yuille, were killed and the gunman, identified as Jacob Tyler Roberts, 22, killed himself in the mall. A 15-year-old girl was seriously wounded but should recover.
Despite all the evidence collected to so far, the sheriff's office said they are still looking to talk with anyone with information about the incident.
Contact investigators by telephone at 503-723-4949, or by using the online e-mail form. Reference Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Case 12-36745.
The real hero and the big story is Nick Meli, who confronted the shooter with his legal CCW. Although he didn't shoot, he forced Jacob Roberts to retreat and ultimately kill himself.

How many of you had heard this CRITICAL TRUTH about the Clackamas shooting?
@alohan He didn't force him to retreat, and didn't force him to kill himself. Nick retreated and lost track of the shooter who, if you look at the diagram of his movements, continued on a path that wouldn't be called retreating. So, we've heard this "CRITICAL TRUTH" it's just that Nick Meli debunks the Nick Meli myth.
 @JTesla  @alohanÂ
You are absolutely wrong, and your claims directly refute Nick's own words.
Â
Nick did not retreat, the shooter did. And of course we can't know what went through Roberts' mind, but the very next shot he fired after being confronted was into his own worthless body.Â
@alohan Thanks for proving that you didn't even bother to read Nick's own words and that you are basing your statements on myth. Seriously, you didn't even bother to read the full interview with Nick! I did. Nick and his girlfriends account say you are telling a lie. Nick stated that after training his gun on the gunman and determining it wasn't safe to shoot he went back into the small room where his friend and other store partons were hiding, he came out again when one woman needed medication from a bag she had left in the store, he came out not knowing where the gunman was. At the very least read up on the true account before spreading complete garbage. Nick's own account says that you are flat out wrong.
(Playanekes) makes a good point. If there ever was a case for public discovery and making all medical and criminal records open to the public this one fits the bill. I say this freak and the Newtown psychopath killer should have [all] of their records made public. All school, medical, drug usage, everything. The last thing these "less than human" killers deserve is any privacy.
His medical records should certainly be made public. We should know what drugs/alcohol he was on, etc. For some reason this seems different than all of the others which might change some preconceived notions about the typical whackjob.
That is really sweet... Â :-)
@margay1Â Are you referring to the picture?Â
Nice touch...I see my friend DeaconBugg on the left in that picture.
