Deputies find Eagle Creek woman with dementia safe

UPDATE: Deputies have found Paulette Louise Chandler, 68. She is safe. They found her near 82nd Drive and Highway 212 in Clackamas at about 11 a.m., the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office said.

EAGLE CREEK, Ore. – Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a 68-year-old woman with dementia who has been missing since Sunday night.

Family members reported that Paulette Louise Chandler was missing from her home at about 9:30 p.m. She recently moved to the area from the Sacred Heart Villa in Portland.

Clackamas County sheriff’s deputies are searching the area. The last possible sighting of Chandler was at the Motel 6 on SE 97th in Clackamas.

Chandler is 5-foot-5, 160 pounds and has grey hair and blue eyes. She is likely wearing a purple shirt, a red or purple jacket and blue jeans, possibly with a floral print. She is likely carrying a black purse and a cane.

Chandler has no short-term memory. She also might suffer from mild hallucinations. Her family said she would likely appear to be lost, dazed or confused.
