Deputies search for Wilsonville bank robbery suspect

WILSONVILLE, Ore. – Sheriff’s deputies in Clackamas County are searching for a man who they said robbed a bank inside a Fred Meyer store Sunday afternoon.

It happened at the U.S. Bank inside the Wilsonville Fred Meyer on Southwest Boones Ferry Road at around 3 p.m., deputies said.

The suspect gave a teller a note that demanded money. Deputies said no weapons were seen.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 50s with grey hair. He was wearing large women’s sunglasses, a black hoodie with the hood up and blue jeans.

Deputies said the suspect left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. They believe he left the area in a vehicle.
