Detectives arrest 2 suspects in Hazel Dell murder case

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Clark County detectives arrested two men who they said murdered a Vancouver man in his home earlier this month.

43-year-old Matthew Clark of Vancouver was found shot at his home at 9610 NE 25th Avenue on Oct. 1.

Detectives arrested 42-year-old Kirk Hernandez and 33-year-old Darrel “Chris” Fry on Friday. Both men face murder and burglary charges.

Hernandez and Fry were taken to the Clark County Jail. The two are expected to appear in court on Monday.

It’s unclear if the suspects knew Clark.
