Double trouble: OSP says driver in undies crashed two cars

MULINO, Ore. – Oregon State Police said a man is facing charges of driving under the influence after he was involved in two separate crashes involving two different cars near his home in Mulino.
Police said the odd chain of events began late Monday when Leo Brown, 54, of Mulino, apparently crashed a 1994 Nissan Sentra off of Highway 213 near South Eldorado Road.
Investigators said Brown drove the Sentra through some bushes and small trees before getting the car stuck in some mud near his residence.
Police said Brown then walked back home, got in a 2006 Hyundai and returned to the Nissan in order to tow it out of the mud.
But as he was heading to the crash site in the Hyundai, police said Brown drove the that car off the road near where the Sentra had also left the pavement. The Hyundai ended up nose-down against a tree with the back end sticking straight up in the air.
When an OSP trooper arrived on scene, he found Brown was only wearing a light jacket, tennis shoes, thermal long underwear and no pants.
Brown was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and reckless driving. He may face additional charges, police said.
Police did not say if Brown had any injuries from the pair of crashes or what substance he may have been using.
Oregon State Police did not say what became of the two disabled cars. Troopers were assisted by Clackamas County Sheriff's Office during the investigation.
Mulino is located south of Portland near Canby.
Have to wonder . . . . What did his wife/first-cousin have to say about all of this hoohaw?!Â
Or, perhaps more to the point, what did his father/great-uncle/second-cousin-once-removed have to say?
Oh I would LOVE to be a fly on the wall when the insurance claims adjuster gets THIS one.!!! Â Â :-)
Hey Life guard! the Gene Pool needs more bleach!!!! STAT!
"Police said Brown then walked back home, got in a 2006 Hyundai and returned to the Nissan in order to tow it out of the mud."Â I'm thinking that it would have been somewhat amusing to see him try to extricate the first car with the second.
Bizarre! This man obviously has many issues in his life that need addressed. Thank goodness he only wrecked his own cars and didn't maim or kill anyone. That will be an interesting conversation with the insurance agent. His attorney has their work cut out for them.
Hell throw the book at him 2 separate vehicles 2 crashes, left scene of one, ah hell charge him every double, that should revoke his license.
@lee986321 Unfortunately revoking a drivers license does nothing to stop these kinds from driving.Â

Just like restraining orders, gun free zones and speed limit signs don't work.
Â
This guy was just a defective human and needs to go back to the factory for dismantling.
Keeping Mulino weird...
In computer terms, this guy had a ID-10T malfunction.
Epic fail!
Double dipping?
Â
Wearing only long johns/tights isn't a big deal. I own three different weights, plus some other spandex. Bike riding and skiing. I still haven't much sympathy for the perp.
I think without taking and field sobriety tests, it would have been safe to say his Judgement was impaired.
Sounds like a screen play for Jack Ass 4: The Idiots Strike Back
Â
@RalphCramden Good one Ralph! I think he also made the sequel: Jackass 5: Return of the idiot!
 @RalphCramden Hahahahahaha
Must have been no pants day! Wow...only in Oregon...haha.
Â
It's an out of date term but I think Epic Fail applies here.
