Driver arrested after injury crash near Portland
MILWAUKIE, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police have arrested a 66-year-old Milwaukie-area man following a crash on Highway 99E in Oak Grove south of Portland that injured another driver and pedestrian.
Trooper Ted Moisan says Michael John Dec was taken to Clackamas County Jail for investigation of drunk driving, reckless driving, assault and criminal mischief.
Moisan says Dec's pickup truck collided with a station wagon driven by 59-year-old Cathy Bennett on Saturday night.
Bennett was taken to Oregon Health & Science University for treatment of serious injuries. A 48-year-old pedestrian, from Milwaukie, also was injured when he was hit by vehicle debris.
So sad. You'd think at his age he would know better than to drink and drive .
If I lived in Milwaukie I'd be drunk too.
