BEND, Ore. – Officials said Friday they are lifting all evacuation and pre-evacuation orders put into place because of the Two Bulls fire.

The fire, just 10 miles northwest of Bend has consumed nearly 7,000 acres. As of Friday morning, firefighters had it 70 percent contained. They are estimating full containment Saturday.

While the evacuation orders have been lifted for Skyliners Road and surrounding homes, there are still U.S. Forest Service road closures in place, according to the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office.

The two fires that started Saturday, June 7 on private land eventually merged into one.

Fire investigators have determined the fires were human caused and an award of $36,825 is being offered for information leading to a conviction of those responsible.
