MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — A Medford man is scheduled for sentencing Monday in the deaths of his wife and four young children.

The 53-year-old, Jordan Adam Criado, entered Alford guilty pleas in March to aggravated murder charges.

In return for the guilty pleas, Jackson County prosecutors are not seeking a death sentence and are recommending life in prison without parole.

Criado admitted killing his wife in July 2011 after she came home after spending all night out of the house.

Authorities found the bodies in the burning home, which had been set afire. Criado was unconscious for nearly three weeks from smoke inhalation.
