Fiery crash burns semi hauling hamburgers
TROUTDALE, Ore. - A trucker escaped a fiery crash with minor injuries after his semi hauling hamburgers crashed and caught fire Tuesday evening, Oregon State Police said.
Michael W. Chase, 69, of Woodburn was westbound on Interstate 84 east of Troutdale around 5:40 p.m. when he took the Benson State Park exit.
Chase's 1999 Volvo semi hauling a trailer loaded with hamburgers overturned on the wet roadway, police said.
A fire started in the engine compartment and spread through the truck and trailer.
Chase was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Well, I'll be that at least smelled better than the truck that spilled a load of fish guts recently.

Sorry hamburger lovers, but the second that truck met the pavement ..., it all became ground beef.
Glad the driver only had minor injuries. Â Now, the important question - where's the truck with the buns?

Interestingly enough, that's what I'm having for lunch right now, albeit from a local saloon. Tillamook cheeseburg w/bacon & caramelized onions w/fries on the side. Yum!!!!
