Fire destroys two Dallas homes

DALLAS, Ore. – A fire Thursday morning at a house in Dallas spread to another nearby house, seriously damaging both homes, officials said.

The fire started at about 9:20 a.m., gutting the first home at 443 S.W. Washington St. within 30 minutes, said Dallas City Manager Ron Foggin.

The blaze quickly spread to the second home, and it appears both houses will be a total loss, Foggin said.

No one was seriously hurt.
