Firefighters pull man from burning garage

PORTLAND, Ore. – Firefighters rescued a man from a burning garage in Southeast Portland Monday morning.

The garage was detached from the home, located at 9905 SE Yukon Street, firefighters said. Crews responded to the fire just after 7 a.m.

Firefighters found a man inside the burning garage and pulled him to safety. He was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.

His name has not been released.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
