PORTLAND, Ore. - A member of Occupy Portland has become the first person associated with the group to be convicted for their actions during a protest.
Jonathan Zook was arrested during the D-17 march in December.
On Friday, he was found guilty of interfering with a police officer. He was found not guilty on charges of assault, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Zook was sentenced to two days in jail, probation, community service and he will be required to pay a $400 fine.
