WOODLAND, Wash. -- A fisherman found a body on the bank of the Columbia River near Woodland on Sunday afternoon.
The Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office said the body looks like it has been in the water for several weeks or longer. They were not able to immediately identify the person's age or gender due to the level of the decomposition.
The coroner will work to determine the person's identity before releasing their cause of death.
More information will be released as it becomes available.
