Five hurt in two-car crash in Hillsboro

HILLSBORO, Ore. – Five people were hurt in a two-car crash in Hillsboro Saturday afternoon, firefighters said.
It happened at NW Jackson Road and U.S. Highway 26 just before 4 p.m.
A small 4-door sedan collided with a larger 4-door sedan. All five of the injured people were in the larger car, firefighters said.
It’s unclear what caused the crash.
Firefighters had to cut one of the doors off the car to remove the injured passengers.
Three of the passengers had minor injuries. Two others had traumatic injuries, but they are expected to survive, firefighters said.
The driver of the other car was not hurt.
That intersection used to be stop signs for so many years. It's much safer than it used to be but there's a careless driver everywhere these days.
So KATU is the propaganda arm of Washington County Fire?
@RalphCramden Fisher Networks are the propaganda tool of the governmental agenda. Mainly liberal or demo.  They're not the minority however, is it a coincidence all the new stations pretty much cover the same stories? Â
What the hell does politics have to do with this story? You people are out of your minds.Â
@mixer529 In answer to your question...nothing. These are just a bunch grumpy old guys who like to huff and puff, and attempt wax philosophical when their prostates become inflamed.
Out in Hills-burrito, no one wears a seat belt, but a licensed, insured White person. If an illegal wears a seat belt they cannot get out of the car fast enough in order to take off running. Yea, I know what folks will say, but after being a cop for 29.5 please tell me I am wrong???Â
@boned What does your comment have to do with the accident, when all 5 injured people were treated at that scene? No one fled, and the investigation of how things came about is still happening. I'm surprised at you, boned. That was pretty demeaning, even for you.Â
@boned Uh, okay one you're wrong, and remember you asked for it!
@boned Not only are you wrong, but kind of ignorant too. For those of us who live and serve this community, we'd appreciate it if you'd not be so demeaning in your referral to our city and call it it's appropriate name, Hillsboro. On behalf of the outstanding members of law enforcement in the community, you are not only wrong, but an embarrassment to the rest of us.
@boned You are a sad example of a human being. If only you could be on the other side of the racism you practice.
 @bonedÂ
We used to get update on car crashes prior to arrival. They were very telling. The ones that said all the occupants have fled the scene gave us a big indicator of who we were dealing with.
I guess driving what looks like a Lincoln Town Car doesn't protect you from little kamikaze drivers.
