Got an email from the Better Business Bureau? Be wary
PORTLAND, Ore. - The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is warning folks about a new round of malicious emails that claim to be from the Council of Better Business Bureaus in Arlington, Virginia.
The emails include a subject line with a Better Business Bureau case number and the message inside asks you to quickly respond to handle a customer complaint.
The emails actually contain viruses and malware that can damage your computer.
You should never open attachments or reply to emails that you don't recognize. And report any fraudulent e-mail to the Better Business Bureau.
