Extreme panhandling! I am so tired of being begged to death every time I go out. I have a limited income and when I tell people "no" in this town, they give me an attitude like I owe it to them. I can barely support myself, but then I get this crap. Don't get me wrong I feel bad when it comes to helping someone else or myself, but I have to choose myself. One question, can we pass a city ordinance that makes panhandling illegal? Please? Now?
Multnomah County Jail is becoming the Largest & Most Expensive Homeless Shelter & Insane Asylum in the State of Oregon; and when the inmates are released...it's directly back to the streets STILL HOMELESS and MORE DESPERATE than ever before....
That is why it is a good idea to keep your doors locked and windows up if at all possible. Keep your wits about you wherever you are. Some people have no problem at all wanting to bum money or cigarettes. Panhandling as it were. Better to not give them a chance to get too close. Sad actually. But it will only get worse.
He will have a place to sleep for a day or two perhaps.

Funny, I saw this same exact guy hanging around Lownsdale Square during the Occupy protests in downtown.

Ah, the life of a drug addict (even if it's only nicotine).
Well, now he's in jail, so no more cigarettes for awhile. But he'll probably get out again soon!
