Arrest made in Camas cemetery vandalism, police say

CAMAS, Wash. - Police arrested a 21-year-old man who they say is responsible for vandalizing at least a dozen headstones at a local cemetery, Camas police said Thursday night.

While police arrested Michael Garwood of Camas, they say there may be other people who were involved.

The vandals struck the Camas Cemetery sometime on Wednesday. In all, 16 headstones were toppled over and some of them ended up broken as a result.

Garwood was booked into the Clark County jail.
