Highway 14 blocked off after hay truck catches fire

WASHOUGAL, Wash. -- All lanes of Highway 14 near Washougal were blocked Tuesday afternoon after hay in a truck caught fire.

The fire inside the 40-foot truck sparked just before 3 p.m. Firefighters responded to a fully involved fire. No one was injured.

The highway between Washougal River Road and 32nd Street was cordoned off while firefighters responded to the fire.

The highway was reopened at about 6 p.m.

Authorities did not yet know what caused the fire.
