'I went down the street and there's like 4 more burning down there'

PORTLAND, Ore. – Police are looking for suspects after someone set fire to at least seven recycle bins along a Southeast Portland street Tuesday night.
The fires started after 11 p.m. along Southeast Holgate Boulevard between 129th and 132nd avenues.
Neighbors said they first thought someone was barbecuing, but then they spotted the flames from recycle bins along the street.
“I saw a flame, went to get my extinguisher, found it, then I went down the street and there’s like four more burning down there,” said Larry Riskey. “Then I turned around and looked back this way, there was three more down there.”
Riskey and neighbor Joshua Hudson put out most of the flames themselves.
No one was hurt.

So, more rocket scientists rear their ugly heads in Portland. What the hell does stupid crap like this do except raising the garbage rates? Do people think the co. is going to absorb the cost? Hell no, the rates will go up soon!
Not far from Felony Flats.

@bOB That would have kept them busy. At least for a few minutes.

I know it was some dumb kid being stupid, but this deserves three stupids because of the 90 days of dry we have had the air and brush is so devoid of moisture this could have set off a number of wildfires.

They could have done significant property damage or even injury to people.

The person(s) who did this need to do some serious community service.
