Investigation underway after man falls to his death in Hillsboro
HILLSBORO, Ore. -- Police are investigating a man's death Thursday after it appeared he fell off a ladder in Hillsboro.
According to Storm Smith, a spokesperson for Hillsboro Fire Department, said the incident happened at about 3 p.m. in the 200 block of Northeast 74th in Hillsboro.
When firefighters arrived, they found a man face down on concrete. Firefighters discovered the man had already died.
Officials said the man was part of a siding crew for a contractor and was on a 20-foot ladder, but aren't sure exactly where on the ladder the man was when he fell. Officials have not released the man's name yet.
For those of you who do not know this man there is no reason to be making smart ass comments. Those of us who know him know it was a terrible accident and he will be very missed. Think outside of the box and don't be a selfish ass. GROW UP.
There are more details forthcoming, I'm assuming.Â
Â
But whatever the case, sincere sympathies to the man's family. Â
Coroner's report: Â Cause of death - gravity.
Way to think outside of the box Mikey! Â Though unlikely, It shows your not complasive with your thinking.
"complasive"?
Who's to say he even fell off the ladder at all? Maybe he just died and fell over.
@Mikey true....PLus you can die from a fall as little as 6 ft which means a average man falling over and hitting his head.....
