UPDATE: Police said they were notified on Sunday that Emerald was located in Portland by a family member. She is in good health and home with her family.

LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. – Lake Oswego police detectives are asking for the public’s help finding a 14-year-old girl who left her home almost a week ago.

The girl, named Emerald, left her home on March 8 after 11 p.m., according to the Lake Oswego Police Department website. Her family was asleep when she left.

Police said she left with a sleeping bag, toiletries and possibly a green and white backpack. She is “comfortable outdoors” and does not have a cellphone.

Emerald is 5-feet tall and weighs 120 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes. She has no known medical issues.

Anyone with information on Emerald’s location is asked to call Lake Oswego police at 503-635-0238.

Police did not release Emerald’s last name. She has no history of running away, police said.
