PORTLAND, Ore. - City crews stopped a leaking sewer pipe that caused a sinkhole in Southwest Portland.
It happened near Southwest Osage and Green.
Officials say a leaky sewage line slowly ate away at the ground under the road and eventually caused the asphalt to crumble.
No one was hurt and neighbors told us crews responded quickly to repair the road.
Eh, call it what it really is...a  sTinkhole.  Hey, maybe it really was Adams fault?
Blame Sam Adams. He spent the money on green bicycle lanes.
bill mahar was poking fun as some headline pointed to one in florida, "season of sink hole", thought it a joke?
There was a sinkhole on a golf course too. Could this be a sign of the end of days? America being pulled down to Hades?
@Oregon7812 No, that would require a hand basket, if I remember it correctly.Â
Feel sorry for the city crew that gets to fix that smelly mess. Holy crap that is one sinkhole i don't want to drive into!
a bicycle tunnel??? What the Water Bureau does best:)
What is this? Some kind of a sinkhole apocalypse. These things are out of control, they are everywhere.

@Bill Melaytur Hahahaha! Thanks for the laugh Fish! Now I'm gonna go wash my eyeballs out..
You're not bad looking, but you're no Ralph Cramden.
@Oregon7812Â If I say I look like Ralph, will you tell me I'm not bad looking? Â I'm kinda needy.
@Dr. Rawdog If I totally understood what Skype is, I'd Skype with you.  You look kinda cute and you're obviously rich because you're a doctor.
What a crappy situation. Â
Osage and Green? I had no idea where it was, and I have lived here a long time. It is near SW Vista (opposite NW 23rd) and Burnside:  https://maps.google.com/maps?q=SW+Osage+and+Green&hl=en&ll=45.522826,-122.698917&spn=0.034337,0.077162&sll=45.543408,-122.654422&sspn=0.274596,0.617294&hnear=SW+Osage+St+%26+SW+Green+Ave,+Portland,+Multnomah,+Oregon+97205&t=m&z=14
