Liquor theft suspect steals 9 bottles with diaper bag, police say

WOODLAND, Wash. – Police are looking for a woman who they said stole nearly $500 in liquor from a grocery store in Woodland.
The woman stole nine bottles of liquor from a Safeway store on Jan. 20, police said.
She was caught on surveillance video. Police are asking for help identifying the woman.
She’s accused of putting the nine bottles in a very large purse or shoulder bag, similar to a diaper bag.
The value of the theft was $497.48, police said.
Police are investigating whether the suspect committed similar thefts at other stores.
Anyone with any information about the suspect or additional thefts is asked to call Officer Brent Murray at 360-225-6965.
From the looks of her, she might be smuggling some hams in that shirt too.   Wow, what a looker. . .
Sorry, that wasn't nice, but she needs to get a better hobby than stealing lots of booze at a Safeway of all places. (or anywhere else, for that matter.)Â
Â
i needs me sum gin an juicey juice
I'm guessing she isn't a local to Woodland unless things have change a lot recently.
You think maybe her baby has a drinking problem?

@Fed up Fed If it's a marijuana crop report, watch for it Live at 5.  LOL.
Looks like she had them stuffed in her shirt.
Nope, don't think so. She probably found some free munchies lying around the store just waiting for someone to come take them internally! Check under her cap for some ding-dong wannabes also. LOL
Just keepin' it real , , , real liquored up, that is.
If they don't know who she is, and didn't catch her, how do they know exactly what she stole?
@jpk I'm going to guess they discovered the 9 bottles were stolen and went back through their security footage to find who took them.
That bag must have been HEAVY!!!!Â
One time an ex-heroin addict friend of mine went shopping with me, and he straight up placed over $100 of the food in his backpack while he was shopping. He bought a few things in his cart but walked away with a weeks worth the groceries. Luckily he turned his life around, but it was ridiculous.
You should have spoken to the "friend" of yours. If he/she didn't put it back, you should have let someone know! By allowing this to happen, you aided the person! Sorry, but that's my take on this revelation.
@jpk I did speak up, but I was there to do my own shopping as well, so wasn't going to hamper what he does. We both know its wrong, its just one of those things you do when you are a teenager...
@portlandborn83 well said .. I made a lot of bad choices when I was a teenager and very glad that I got turned around .. Should be able to comment without someone jumping down your throat and judging you ..
Well, you do what you gotta do to survive while having a drug habit...people do it all of the time in other places. I am not trying to justify what he did but not everyone has a trust fund account who has a father working for a fortune 500 company.
Things you do as a teenager? Really? Don't want to judge you in retrospect at all, but age isn't always an excuse.
It's unlikely this is her first rodeo. Â She either has a SERIOUS alcohol issue, or she sells it on Craigslist. Â
That's a pretty good picture you are going to get caught, (good) and I don't think you can out run them.
@old_dollor That saying, "You can run but you can't hide".....I don't think she can do either!
9 bottles costing almost $500 dollars? At least she stole the good stuff!
@ryguy285 Top shelf booze from a diaper bag?  Isn't that like taking a mint Roger Maris rookie trading card and putting it on your bicycle spoke?
Low budge...
