Lombard closed after fatal crash

PORTLAND, Ore. - One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Northeast Portland Friday afternoon.
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of Northeast Lombard.
Details are few at this time but police did say that Lombard is closed in both directions from Northeast 33rd Avenue to 42nd Avenue, and will be for some time.
They should put stoplights in at that intersection. People drive like total idiots on Lombard through this area...like it's some sort of racetrack or something.
That has historically been a very bad spot for crashes. Actually it is a good spot for crashes as there are a lot of them.
