PORTLAND, Ore – Police arrested a man after a bank robbery Monday morning in Southeast Portland.
A teller at the West Fargo at 6646 SE Milwaukie Ave. said a man came into the bank shortly after 9 a.m. and presented a demand note.
The man took off with some cash and ran into the surrounding neighborhood.
Police got a description and arrested 44-year-old Christopher James Poole nearby. They said they found evidence linking him to the robbery.
Police said federal bank robbery charges are pending with the U.S. Attorney's office.
