Man arrested after bank robbery was wanted for PSU mugging

PORTLAND, Ore. – Police arrested a 22-year-old man after a Portland bank robbery Monday afternoon.
Eric David Mendoza was also wanted in connection with a mugging at Portland State University on March 7, police said.
Officers took Mendoza into custody after a robbery at a Wells Fargo bank at 845 NW 11th Ave. just after 4 p.m.
Mendoza faces charges of robbery in the second degree and assault in the fourth degree in connection with the PSU robbery. Police took him to the Multnomah County Jail.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office is reviewing the case before considering whether to file formal bank robbery charges.
Another poor fool that will have an attorney appointed at taxpayer expense, then eventually get probation for a few years! Yup! This country is really going places! Â
I'm sure the other prisoners in jail will find a use for those pouty lips.

@Dr. Rawdog @The Resistance ---- WHHHHAT? Funny, I hadn't thought of that.
@Dr. Rawdog @The Resistance --- actually I was just hoping he would be forced into anything that would make his jail stay a living hell. If the illegal disgusting acts you seem to enjoy describing happen to that POS, then good. If you want to attack me and ignore this scum, that's fine too, I have broad shoulders and can carry that burden.
That's quite a fierce pose he has going on. Blue Steel?
Trial by the media. Good luck findi g any unbiased Katu commenters to serve as jurors. Wrongful arrests do occasionally happen.

@TheUglyTruth @MGraveyberry Oh, wow -- good to know.  Yesterday someone tried to convince us all that it was the 'deadbeats' that got him elected.  Personally, I think it was lack of a decent candidate on your side (just like 4 years earlier) but now that I know it was the media I'll have to re-think things.  You meant Rush, Lars and FoxNews, right? Â
Funny you should mention that. I served on a jury not too long ago. The accused had been waiting trial for 9 months, long enough for most citizens to have forgotten the incident.
The only evidence I care about when on a jury is how the defendant looks. If he looks shifty or weasly, I automatically vote guilty - doesn't matter what some fancy pants lawyer has to say.
Have you thought about screening for TSA ? It might be your nitch.....
BUSTED! You're outta here!
A real peace of work. JERK!!! Mom must be so very proud.
I thought robbing a bank was a federal crime. Are they turning him over to the feds?
Since he was involved to an assault, we sent half of him to the fed, and keep the other half locally.
@tptpttp Now that sounds like a great decision. I was thinking chainsaw...
