VANCOUVER, Wash. — Police believe an explosion at Vancouver home Sunday was caused by an attempt to make hashish oil by processing marijuana with butane.

Detectives who served a search warrant found several butane cans.

A man who suffered burns on his face was taken to a hospital by a friend.

The Clark-Vancouver Regional Drug Task Force is investigating.

Police said the explosion happened in the kitchen. They found a large amount of pot and several smoking devices inside the home.
