PORTLAND, Ore. -- A man was arrested for murder on Friday in connection with a fatal stabbing Thursday night in Northeast Portland.
Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 400 block of Northeast Going Street. After arriving, they found 33-year-old Duane Bailey had been stabbed and rushed him to a Portland hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Salathiel Laroy Dale was arrested on Friday. Police said Bailey and Dale had been involved in a domestic relationship and were involved in an argument outside the Going Street residence.
Dale will be arraigned on Monday.
Police don't believe there are any other suspects.
Going Street was blocked off between Martin Luther King Boulevard and Seventh Avenue.
