BEAVERTON, Ore. - A man ended up in the hospital with gunshot wounds after someone fired several shots into a condo in Beaverton.

The shooting happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday at a home in the 15000 block of Southwest Sparrow Loop.

The victim was 34-year-old Brandon Jesse Frison. Police said his injuries were not life threatening. He was released from the hospital later Tuesday morning.

Officers and a K-9 team searched the area for a suspect but did not find anyone. Police said they don't have a description of the suspect.

"We always thought that it was really safe in our neighborhood," said Cindy Raab, who lives in the complex. "I've never seen police or news crews, so when I got up to go to Pilates and to hear from people that someone got hit from the gunfire - now I don't want my daughter out."

Police said the shooting was not a drive-by and the community should not be worried. Investigators do not believe this was a random crime.
